Working Toward Financial Freedom

1.  Do a monthly budget

Proverbs 27:23- 24 23 Know the state of your flocks, and put your heart into caring for your herds, 24 for riches don’t last forever… NLT

2.  Saving must become a priority

Proverbs 13:11  Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.   NIV  

3.   Pay off debt using the snowball principle

Romans 13:7-8 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.  8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another.  NIV 

4.   Prayerfully adjust your lifestyle

Proverbs 16:3  Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. NLT  

5.  Start building wealth and live generously

Proverbs 21:5 5 Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.  NLT
