What should my spouse and I be doing to grow TOGETHER in our relationship with God?
How do we teach our elementary age children to respond to their friends who either say they are homosexual/transgender or have parents who are? How can we teach them it goes against our values as Christians, while still teaching them to accept and love their peers? (Slide 2)
Romans 1:26-27 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
There are some things Jesus said that make me wonder if I'm living my faith and bearing fruit. (Matthew 7:21-23, Matthew 7:14 for example.) Is my life of comfort a sign I am not a true follower. His disciples gave up everything.
I have succumbed to moral relativism. How do I overcome that mindset? To instantly say I have thrown it all away today is disingenuous. I admit I have a problem in that area.
What is the overall purpose of being a Christian?
